RallyAce Terms of Service
These terms are a contract between you and Atalaz LTD (company number 17394628), trading as RallyAce ("RallyAce", "we", "us") governing your use of the RallyAce app. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. What RallyAce is
RallyAce helps tennis players find compatible partners nearby, arrange matches, track results, and build a record of reliability. We provide the platform; we do not organise, supervise, or participate in matches, and players you meet through the app are not vetted, verified, or endorsed by us.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must provide accurate information (including a truthful playing level) and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. You may not create accounts for others, impersonate anyone, or create a new account to evade a suspension or a reliability record.
3. Community conduct
You agree to:
- Show up. Match commitments are the core of the platform. Repeated no-shows and late cancellations lower your reliability score, which is visible to other players and may reduce your visibility in discovery.
- Rate honestly. Post-match ratings (reliability, sportsmanship) must reflect your genuine experience. Retaliatory, fraudulent, or coordinated ratings may be removed and may lead to suspension.
- Report, don't retaliate. Use the in-app block and report tools for abusive behaviour. False or bad-faith reports are themselves a breach of these terms.
- Keep chat civil. No harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, spam, or commercial solicitation in messages or profiles.
We may moderate, remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
4. Reliability scores and match records
Reliability scores, no-show records, and match histories are computed by the platform from match outcomes and participant reports. They are our good-faith operational measures, not statements of fact about you, and we may adjust or correct them (for example after a disputed report). You may not manipulate them.
Pre-launch test period. RallyAce is currently open only to a private test cohort, not the general public — if you're using the app now, you're a tester. Matches, ratings, reliability scores, no-show counts, and messages created during this test period are provisional: they exist to help us build and calibrate the app, not to create a permanent record, and none of it carries forward once RallyAce opens to the public. We're telling you this upfront, before you build up a match history, precisely so it isn't a surprise later — the wipe happens at RallyAce's discretion, which may be before or at public launch, and it affects only test-period activity, not your account itself.
5. Meeting other players — safety
Playing tennis with people you meet online carries inherent risks. You agree that:
- You choose whom to play and where; we recommend public courts and telling someone where you are going.
- You are responsible for assessing your own fitness to play and the conditions of any venue.
- We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, on or off the app, or for injuries, losses, or disputes arising from matches or meetings arranged through RallyAce.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you post (profile photos, messages, comments). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process it as needed to operate the service. Don't post content you don't have the right to share.
7. Court bookings and third parties
Court availability shown in the app is reference information. Bookings happen on third-party sites (e.g. venue or LTA/ClubSpark pages) under their terms; we are not a party to those transactions and don't guarantee availability or pricing.
8. Paid features
RallyAce is currently free. We may introduce optional paid features or subscriptions in future; if we do, pricing and terms will be presented clearly in the app before you pay, and purchases will be handled by the app store you use.
9. Termination
You can stop using RallyAce at any time and delete your account in Settings. Your profile and personal details are removed immediately; match records, ratings, and messages exchanged with other players are retained rather than deleted, so that other players' match history isn't left broken — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what is kept and how to request further removal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, harm other users, or abuse the platform. Sections 5, 6, 10 and 11 survive termination.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that matches will be arranged, that players are as described, that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that content (including ratings and reliability scores) is accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from interactions between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. General
- We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there).
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
